EXCLUSIVE: MYSTERIOUS GIRL SINGER PETER ANDRE HAS SPOKEN EXCLUSIVELY TO DAILY STAR ABOUT HIS NEW FILM JAFAICAN AND HAS HINTED THAT A SEQUEL IS ON THE CARDS 11:22, 01 Jun 2025 Peter Andre is
already hinting at a Jafaican sequel. Speaking exclusively to Daily Star about his new project, Andre explained: "We have already set the film up for a sequel but it'll be in a
different country and playing a different character, but Gary Buckle will remain!" During the film's final scene, Jamie Lomas' character is shown wearing a sombrero while
talking on the phone. The former Hollyoaks actor implies that he is willing to take part in another heist job, which could hint toward a sequel shot in Mexico. Jafaican follows Peter's
character Gary Buckle, a loveable crook who gets into serious trouble while trying to impersonate someone else. While struggling to fund his grandmother's care home fees, Gary gets
caught up in a plan to fly to Jamaica and pretend to be local gangster Denton 'Kill Man' Powell in an attempt to make some millions. Article continues below However, it all goes
pear shaped things don't quite go to plan. In the film, Peter wears a dreadlock wig and adopts a Jamaican accent while impersonating Denton. The stunt shocked viewers when the trailer
was released, but Peter has spoken out against critics and has urged them to "watch the film first" before making their mind up. He told Daily Star: "Jafaican feels does feel
like a throwback, it really does. It is a tongue and cheek movie and it's a comedy style of the 90s." "People say: 'They don't make movies like that now,' well
they do because we've just done one! What is interesting is that people like myself, and there are millions of us, still watch the movies now so even though we don't get new
versions of these in 2025 - except for something like Jafaican - we actually still watch those films." "So for me it's: 'Why can't we make films that are funny and
nostalgic and make us feel like we're in that era?'" JOIN THE DAILY STAR'S WHATSAPP FOR THE SEXIEST HEADLINES, SHOWBIZ GOSSIP AND LOTS MORE The Daily Star is now on
