Netflix has announced that it is renewing _Emily in Paris_ for a fifth season, following the return of Season 4 on September 12. Season 4 – which was split into two parts, with Part 1

debuting on August 12 – sees Emily (Lily Collins) embark on a romance with a handsome Italian fashion exec and then move to Italy to open a Rome office for Agence Grateau. The Season 5

announcement featured a teaser of Emily sitting on rooftop terrace in Rome as she sipped on an espresso, saying, “There’s no place like Rome”, with a wink. The show’s creator Darren Star

confirmed to Deadline last week that the Rome connection is set to continue in Season 5. “She didn’t change her Instagram handle to _Emily in Rome_. She is working in Rome sometimes.
