Cal State Northridge will host the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball tournament at the 1,600-seat Matadome on March 8-10 if the Matadors win the conference title, Athletic Director Dick
Dull said Thursday. The Big Sky’s six-team tournament is hosted annually by the regular-season champion. The host school must guarantee $205,000 to be dispersed among the remaining eight
schools while subsidizing the cost of the tournament through gate receipts. Northridge, whose arena is among the smallest in the Big Sky, could seek an alternative venue to produce more
revenue. But Dull said Northridge will seek corporate sponsorship to finance the tournament. MORE TO READ
