Petitioner A Indhira submitted that three members of a caste Hindu community had constructed a 300-foot wall on a public pathway, encroaching 30 cents of land, with the objective of
preventing people moving between Soundaralingapuram, where about 200 Dalit families reside, and nearby Aavaraikulam where about 1,500 Nadar community families live.
