Dothan , AL — CAVHCS is proud to announce a series of events to support and engage Veterans and their families. Scheduled for Tuesday, July 9, 2024, these events will be held at The Elks


Lodge #1887 at 3041 Ross Clark Circle, Dothan, Alabama, and are open to all Veterans, their families, and community members. PACT ACT VET FEST Kicking off the day's activities, the PACT


Vet Fest will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This resource fair will offer a wide array of informational tables and services to assist Veterans, including: * Toxic Exposure Screening * Veterans


Benefits Administration Claims Assistance * Health Care Enrollment * Travel Claim Assistance * Information about Volunteering * Patient Advocacy * Whole Health Services HOMELESS VETERANS


RESOURCE FAIR Concurrently, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Homeless Veterans Resource Fair will provide crucial resources and support for homeless and at-risk Veterans. The fair aims to help


Veterans reclaim their self-worth and dignity through various services, including: * Housing Assistance * Employment Opportunities * Health Care Services * Legal Aid * Social Services


VETERANS TOWN HALL The day will culminate with a Veterans Town Hall meeting from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. This forum will allow Veterans, their families, and community members to receive updates on


the latest developments and services provided by CAVHCS. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with the health care system's leadership, ask questions, and share their


feedback. "We invite Veterans, family members, and community members to join us for these important events," said CAVHCS Acting Director Valerie Russell. "These gatherings are


invaluable for Veterans to learn about available resources, express their needs, and connect with our team."
