ABOUT Stephanie Childs is a senior consumer insights manager at AARP Research, where she conducts qualitative and quantitative research related to the organization’s publications (AARP
Magazine, AARP Bulletin, e-newsletters) and value offerings. Childs previously oversaw research projects across a variety of topics for AARP Services, Inc., the wholly owned, taxable
subsidiary which manages the wide range of commercial products and services that carry the AARP name, AARP member benefits, and advertising sales for AARP's media channels. Prior to
joining AARP, Childs delivered fact-based insights and recommendations that informed all aspects of Animal Planet’s network operations at Discovery Communications, from content and marketing
to overall business strategy. Childs has a master’s in marketing and the management of science, technology & innovation from George Washington University and a bachelor’s in marketing
