ABOUT Terri Guengerich, MA, is a senior research advisor in AARP Research conducting both qualitative and quantitative research focused on caregiving and long-term care at the state level.
Before joining AARP, Guengerich conducted agency evaluation research in her early career with Metro United Way in Louisville, Kentucky. She then directed and managed the research function at
the international headquarters of Goodwill Industries in Rockville, MD. She has a master’s degree in public affairs with a concentration in program evaluation from Indiana University, a
bachelor’s degree in public affairs from Indiana University, and an associate’s degree (paralegal) from Vincennes University. She also earned a graduate certificate in survey methodology
