The best NFL player from an Alabama high school or college during the 2020 season was Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry, according to Pro Football Focus. Pro Football Focus


provides customized data and statistics for every team in the NFL, and it grades every NFL player on every play of every game. PFF released its player grades this week for the 2020 season,


including the playoffs, and Henry came in at No. 8. The former Alabama All-American became the eighth player in NFL history to rush for 2,000 yards in a season in 2020, when Henry earned


first-team All-Pro recognition and his second straight Pro Bowl selection. Henry led the NFL with 378 rushing attempts for 2,027 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, when he recorded three


games with at least 200 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Seven players with Alabama football roots appeared in PFF’s annual compilation of the NFL’s best 101 players, regardless of
