historic maps dating back to 1883. Further along the road, the Gables Rest Home at 73 Lichfield Street was given planning permission in March 2025 to become an 11-bedroom HMO. In September
last year, planning permission was granted for 79 Lichfield Street, located next door to the rest home, to be converted into an eight-bedroom HMO.
