overall decrease in pensioners searching for jobs, by -38% from 2023 to 2024. Currently, Attendance Allowance, is either £72.65 (lower rate) or £108.55 (higher rate) per week, and is


typically paid every four weeks. This equates to either £290.60 or £434.20 each pay period, or around £5,644.60 over the 2024/25 financial year. From April, the lower rate will rise to


£73.90 per week and those eligible for the higher rate will receive £110.40 weekly. These increases reflect a 1.7 per cent uplift in line with inflation. Those eligible for Pension Credit


could receive up to £218.15 a week as a single person, raised by an extra £81.50 if you also qualify for Attendance Allowance. If you qualify for Pension Credit or certain other benefits,


you could receive a further £300 from the Winter Fuel Payment.
