SOME PEOPLE WILL NOT RECEIVE THE BONUS IN JUNE 12:22, 31 May 2025 Nationwide customers are in line for a free £100 payment - but not everyone will get it. The one-off bonus will be dished
out to customers as part of the building society's 'Fairer Share' scheme. Millions of current account customers will get a share of £400m after Nationwide announced profits of
£2.3billion for the year up to March 31, 2025. It will be the third year in a row that Nationwide customers have received the bonus. This means that it has paid out more than £1billion to
eligible customers since 2023. The Fairer Share programme was launched to reward customers, allowing them to share some of the profits – but only if they meet certain criteria. Article

current account and qualifying savings * A qualifying current account and a qualifying mortgage To have a qualifying current account, your account must have been open on March 31, 2025. If
you did not have a Nationwide current account open on this date, it means that you will not be eligible for the bonus. You also must have used your current account within the first three
months of the year. To have a qualifying savings account, you must have had at least £100 in one or more personal savings accounts or cash ISAs with Nationwide at the end of any day in March
2025. Nationwide said to have a qualifying mortgage, you must have owed at least £100 on your Nationwide residential mortgage on March 31, 2025. Customers who do not meet the criteria for
the scheme will not be due the £100 payment in June. Anyone who is eligible for the bonus should see it in their account between June 18, 2025, and July 4, 2025. The building society said:
"We will pay the money into your Nationwide current account by electronic transfer. "If you hold more than one current account with us, we may pay the money into any of those
accounts. _Don't miss the biggest and breaking stories by signing up to the BirminghamLive newsletter here._ "We will pay the money into an account in your sole name if you have
one and will pay it into a joint account if you do not. "The payment will appear on your current account statement as Nationwide Fairer Share Payment. "We will not make the payment
in any other way and if you do not have an open Nationwide current account when we try to make the payment, you will not be eligible to receive it." It added: "We will decide
whether you are eligible for the payment based on the information we hold about you and the products you have with us. "We always do our best to ensure that the information is accurate
and complete, but incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date information may mean we wrongly exclude you from the payment. Article continues below "We will make the payment if we find out
you were wrongly excluded, but we will not be liable for any other loss you may incur if this happens. "We also cannot guarantee how quickly an application for a qualifying product
might be completed and therefore will not be responsible if you miss out on the payment because of a delay in opening a relevant product. "If, after checking your eligibility, you think
you have been wrongly excluded, please get in touch and if we have got it wrong, we will take steps to put it right."
