shoe box on the doorstep and, when they opened it, they found a small black cockapoo-type puppy inside. “They rushed the dog to a vet where he was unresponsive, unable to lift his head and


looked in a really poor condition. Article continues below "Despite the efforts of vets, the puppy sadly didn't make it through the night. “This must have been a shocking and


distressing discovery. "We’re grateful to the person who found this dog and rushed him to a vet. "When an animal is in need, the quicker they get help the better. "If you find


a small pet who has been abandoned, take them directly to a local vet or rescue centre. "These teams can call in the expertise of our teams if there’s evidence that the animal has been


neglected or abused." Paige, who is appealing to the public for information about this incident, added: "It’s really sad to think that he was dumped like this at a time when he
