PEAKSAVE CUSTOMERS WILL GET HALF-PRICE ELECTRICITY BETWEEN 1PM AND 3PM 08:12, 29 May 2025 British Gas is offering customers half-priced electricity today (Thursday, 29th May) as part of
their Green Flex event. For PeakSave customers, they can enjoy half-priced electricity between 1pm and 3pm. This is due to the UK's recent weather, with higher winds and sunnier skies
resulting in more energy available for customers. READ MORE: UK WORKERS COULD GET £6K BOOST TO PENSION POTS UNDER NEW PLANS Customers can tackle jobs such as mowing the lawn and washing
clothes all while knowing it is costing them less. PeakSave Green Flex events allow customers to benefit from half-priced electricity during the two-hour window decided by the energy
provider, based on when it is very sunny or windy and there is lots of renewable energy available. Article continues below Eligible customers will be emailed to opt in and take part. British
Gas uses its own forecasting to set the events to test the potential savings and impact on the grid with this scheme. The discount is available to new and existing PeakSave customers, and
all savings will appear as a credit on customers’ energy bills. Green Flex events are in addition to the energy providers usual PeakSave Sunday scheme, which offers half price electricity on
Sunday between 11am and 4pm, meaning thousands of customers can get things done around the house whilst benefiting from half price electricity. There is no obligation to change your normal
routine, although the more you can shift regular activities such as washing, cleaning or cooking, the more you could save on your energy bills, whilst helping the planet. All PeakSave
customers will continue to get half-price electricity every Sunday without needing to opt in. PeakSave was launched to reward customers for better energy usage, supporting a greener energy
supply. Article continues below So far, British Gas has paid over £25 million to over 1 million customers taking part in the scheme. Join our dedicated BirminghamLive WhatsApp community for
