Prince Harry's daughter is today (Wednesday, June 4) celebrating her fourth birthday at her home in Montecito, California.

‌ Shortly after she was born at California's Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, Catherine, Princess of Wales spoke about the new addition to the Royal Family.

‌ She made it clear that she had not spoken or seen her niece in the days following her birth.

When asked by reporters in 2011 if she had any wishes for Lilibet, Kate said: "I wish her all the very best.

"I can't wait to meet her, because we haven't yet... met her yet, so hopefully that will be soon."

She was then asked if she had FaceTimed with her young niece.

To this, she heartbreakingly responded: "No, I haven't. No."

‌ Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not believed to keep regular contact with their royal relatives, with some members having never met Lilibet.

It has never been officially confirmed if Prince William and Kate have met Lilibet, Mirror reports.

Last year, Harry and Meghan celebrated Lilibet's third birthday with a special party at their home.

‌ The Duke and Duchess of Sussex kept the guestlist small, with no members of the Royal Family attending.

It is thought a number of Harry and Meghan'ss close friends, as well as their daughter's friends, celebrated with them.
