POLICE HAVE CONFIRMED THE AGE RANGES OF THOSE INJURED DURING THE LIVERPOOL FC PARADE CRASH ON MONDAY (MAY 26) 14:59, 29 May 2025 Merseyside Police has officially confirmed the age ranges of


those injured when a vehicle ploughed into crowds in Liverpool. A nine-year-old child has been declared as the youngest person amongst those hurt in the Liverpool FC parade crash on Monday,


May 26, with a 78-year-old named as the oldest. It is understood all of the victims are British. The news from police comes after it was revealed the total of individuals wounded from the

suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving offences and driving while unfit through drugs. Article continues below It has been reported the police believe the man was able to access


the street where the parade was occurring, after he managed to follow an ambulance team tending to someone who had a heart attack, due to a road block being temporarily lifted, according to


the Express. The suspect remains in police custody, where he has been questioned over the last few days, and is still being investigated by the team today. Water Street, where the incident


occurred, has now also been reopened to the public, as well as for vehicles to drive down, after the police cordon was removed yesterday. Detective Superintendent Rachel Wilson said: “I’m


pleased to say that the number of people in hospital is reducing as they continue to recover from the awful incident. “We continue to support those still receiving treatment and as part of


our ongoing enquiries we are identifying more people who were injured. “I want to reassure the public of Merseyside that detectives are making significant progress as we seek to establish

addition, extensive CCTV enquiries are being carried out across the city to establish the movements of the car, a Ford Galaxy, before the incident took place. “We have already had an

not yet contacted police who may have information on this incident to do so. “An extensive investigation into the precise circumstances of the incident is ongoing, and we continue to ask


people not to speculate on the circumstances surrounding the incident and refrain from sharing distressing content online.”
