to build a branch of the fast food restaurant in the neighbourhood. The withdrawal came following backlash from locals who said it would impact Stirchley's independent reputation, as
well as cause potential litter issues. Amid the controversy, Burger-Me-Up owners Molly Thompson Dykes and Alex Best continued to focus on serving their signature burgers, earning a
near-perfect 4.9 stars out of five for the quality of the food and service. Now their dedication has been rewarded with the Deliveroo gong. Alex commented: "We're absolutely
thrilled and humbled to have won the Customer Obsession Award at the Deliveroo Restaurant Awards! "From day one, our mission has been to build something special for our burger-loving
community - and that means truly listening to everyone who walks through our doors or orders from us. "Massive shout out to the legend that is Molly, who replies to every single review
and passes on your suggestions so we can keep improving. "It's no small task, but it genuinely shapes how we think and grow as a company. We couldn't do any of this without
our brilliant team or our amazing customers. "Your honesty, support, and feedback keep pushing us to level up. "Thank you for helping us grow, but we're just getting started,
and we can't wait to keep getting better, together." Customer Mary Grinham reviewed Burger-Me-Up this week, writing: "Absolutely brilliant and delicious. Been a few times and
the staff are wonderful and attentive and nothing is too much for them. "Make every effort to go - you won't regret it and will almost definitely return!" Howard Ricketts
wrote: "I had the basic burger and fries option and it was mind-blowingly good. "The patties are sublime and the standard toppings are absolutely perfect. The fries were really
good too. "I ordered when the restaurant was busy and it only took eight minutes to arrive. Article continues below "The vegan/veggie burgers look good too, I'll be back with
the family later."
