from the high street giant. New Look, which has stores in Birmingham, has closed its Chelmsford branch in Essex. The retail chain New Look has confirmed that the popular fashion store in
Essex’s county town closed for good on Wednesday (May 28). The closure follows several other popular eateries and shops which have also shut down in the area. Within the last year, the

another high street shop within High Chelmer Shopping Centre. The retailer has not confirmed any plans to open another branch in the area. The Irish branch of the high-street fashion
retailer has entered liquidation following a High Court ruling. New Look has pledged to support employees throughout. It also emphasised that the appointment of liquidators was not a
decision taken lightly. The retailer said: "New Look has undergone several changes to adapt to the current market, including marketing initiatives, store adaptations, and price range
trials. However, following a strategic review of our Irish business, New Look Group concluded that it was no longer viable to continue trading in Ireland. Article continues below "Given
