place. Article continues below "Many mention how quickly they find peace and reverence within themselves, seldom found in our busy and fragmented world. It's a great place for a

half-day visit. A walk in the mountains makes for a fine full day out." There's a small car park at the bottom of the waterfall and a public footpath takes you right to the top of

the falls in around 20 minutes, zig-zagging across the mountain and passing farmland on the way. From here, you get to see the whole valley and the river tumbling down from the top.

There's a seating area for you to soak up the view. It's best to wear walking boots because, whilst this is not a long walk, it is worth noting there is some climbing involved on

track or rough steps. You can park When you come back down, you can reward yourself with lunch or coffee and cake at the Tan-y-Pistyll (Little house under the waterfall) tea room.

There's a lovely view of the waterfall from the garden or, when it's colder, a warm log fire to sit by whilst you tuck into Sunday lunches, hot chocolate, breakfasts, sandwiches

and snacks. You can even camp here if you like. The campsite office is in the barn on the lower car park. Find out more here READ MORE: Amazing waterfalls within two to three hours of

weather conditions. You can visit the falls for free although donations towards the upkeep of the site are welcomed. Parking is limited and costs £5 on weekdays and £10 on weekends. Article
