After Google’s streaming-based Stadia game service was launched late last year, it’s been plagued by scrutiny and criticisms. But the tech giant has been working hard to get the game service
up and running, trying to bolster its presence and value with additional games. The most recent games to land on the platform are from the SteamWorld series. SteamWorld Dig, SteamWorld Dig
2, SteamWorld Heist and SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech have all been added to Stadia. _(Photo: Google Stadia Console)_ SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Dig 2 are metroidvania-style
adventure games that take players on a journey through digging in an underground world. SteamWorld Heist is a turn-based game, emphasizing a bullet-bouncing mechanic. Finally, SteamWorld
Quest: Hand of Gilgamech is a ‘roleplaying card game.’ Within these four games, SteamWorld Dig 2 and SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech, will be released for free to Stadia Pro subscribers
when they launch. These four new game titles have been added to the over 120 games, including ten exclusives, that Google promised to launch on Stadia this year. _(AP Photo/Mark Lennihan,
