after a man sustained a bleed on the brain and a broken eye socket in an attack outside a Sunderland nightclub. A police probe has now been launched. At around 3am on Saturday, April 4,


police received reports that a man had been assaulted outside 7Even nightclub on Derwent Street in the city centre. The victim, a man in his 40s, sustained serious injuries including a bleed


on the brain, a broken eye socket and collar bone. A police investigation was launched and a number of inquiries have been ongoing since the report was first made, including a recent review


of CCTV footage. As part of the investigation, officers released an image of a man they are looking to trace on Tuesday. Article continues below The man is believed to have been in the area
