motorcycle crash in Newcastle, with tributes being left at the scene on Walker Road. At around 7.45pm on Tuesday, May 20, Northumbria Police received a report of the one-vehicle collision
near the Belmont Court junction. The rider was travelling westbound on a white Honda CR Motorcross bike, when he came off the road and collided with some nearby railings. The reasons for the
collision are still yet to be established, and Northumbria Police's Roads Policing Unit is actively investigating while appealing for witnesses to come forward. KEEP UP TO DATE WITH

20s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specially trained officers. Parts of Walker Road were closed for around three
hours, between Pottery Bank and Belmont Court, to allow officers to carry out their enquiries. Sergeant Craig Bartle, of Northumbria Police, said: "Tragically, a man has lost his life,
and we continue to support his loved ones at this devastating time. "A number of enquiries are ongoing as we try to establish exactly what has happened in the moments leading up to the
collision. As part of this, we are keen to hear from any motorists who were driving in the area at the time, and any further witnesses, especially those with CCTV or dashcam footage.
"This is usually a busy stretch of road, with lots of people and vehicles in the area at the time, so please get in touch if you saw anything of note. We really appreciate the public’s
