The Dow Jones industrials index climbed to its highest levelin nearly 5 years on Friday, after a surprise drop in theunemployment rate pointed to continued improvement in the U.S.labor


market.


The Dow Jones industrial average gained 58.52 points,or 0.43 percent, to 13,633.88. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index


rose 5.88 points, or 0.40 percent, to 1,467.28. TheNasdaq Composite Index added 8.92 points, or 0.28percent, to 3,158.38.


The junior gold miner said it received a positive rulingfrom Mexican tax authorities on how it reports silver revenues.The ruling confirms that Primero can record silver revenue andtaxes


from its San Dimas gold mine in Durango state at therealized silver price rather than the spot price.


The company's shares rose on their debut, a day after theIrish fleet management software provider priced its initialpublic offering at the high end of its expected price range.


Sterne Agee & Leach downgraded the stock to "neutral" whileRBC Capital Markets, Robert W. Baird & Co, Jefferies & Co andJ.P. Morgan Securities cut their price targets on after CEO MegWhitman


warned of an unexpectedly steep earnings slide in 2013.

Brokerages lowered their price targets on the stock by up to40 percent after the "Farmville" game maker slashed its 2012outlook for the second time due to a decline in the number ofpaying


customers.


Facebook, which derives over a tenth of its revenue fromfees paid by Zynga, was also down as was Glu Mobile.


The women's apparel retailer forecast a wider loss in thethird quarter, compared to its earlier expectations, as thecompany increased promotions to clear out excess summerinventory, and its


fall styles also failed to work withshoppers.


The company, which makes data storage systems and software,estimated third-quarter results below its forecast as customersheld back on spending.


Several brokerages including Canaccord Genuity, Needham & Coand Cantor Fitzgerald cut their price targets on the company'sstock.

Lazard Capital Markets downgraded the signal and imageprocessing systems maker to "neutral." Jefferies & Co cut itsprice target on the stock to $7.70 from $12.


The ethernet network provider said negotiations with a largecustomer may reduce rates significantly. Robert W. Baird & Codowngraded the stock to "neutral," saying the company'sannounced


dividend of $3 was below expectations.


Roth Capital raised its price target on the stock, saying ananalysis of interim data of the company's blood cancer drugVosaroxin fell into a "promising" zone. The company released thedata of


its late-stage VALOR trial at an analysts' conference onThursday. The brokerage raised the price target to $12 from $7.


Brokerage Avian Securities LLC cut its rating on the stockof the largest U.S. solar panel maker.


Goldman Sachs added the company to its "conviction buy" listsaying investment management company was insulated from pricecompetition in the exchange-traded funds space, and was poisedto gain


market share in an attractive niche.


Lazard Capital Markets started coverage on the chipmaker'sstock with a "buy" rating.


Barclays Capital downgraded the network gear maker's stockto "equal weight" from "overweight" and cut its price target onthe stock to $105 from $115.


Benchmark Co upgraded the auto repair chain to "buy" from"hold," saying an improving tire profit environment and apossible debt refinance will likely lead to earnings growth. Thebrokerage


also raised its rating on Pep Boys's stock to $12 from$10.


The world's largest branded-wine company's quarterlyearnings beat Wall Street estimates, and the world's largestbranded wine company forecast strong results for the fiscalyear, helped by new


brands and increased promotionalspending.


The real estate finance company announced a public offeringof 3.5 million common shares.


The cosmetics company said Executive Chairman Andrea Jung,who was replaced as chief executive in April, has decided tostep down from the board at the end of 2012, ending what becamea


tumultuous tenure in recent years.


The company has all the pieces it needs to compete in cloudcomputing but is always interested in looking at compelling M&Aopportunities, Chief Financial Officer Safra Catz toldinvestors.


Nomura Equity Research upgraded the software maker to "buy"from "neutral," saying while it may take time for the company toturn its sales force issues around, the stock is trading at
