April’s Connexion about the developing tariff wars between the US and other countries.  As Mr Heffer points out, in the end they will do no good, becoming just a tit-for-tat contest.  It

seems to me that the longer Mr Trump and his colleagues threaten not just trade but to bully other countries, it must be the people who quietly turn their backs on America in disgust.  Be it

products, fast-food chains, holidays or anything else American, walk away from it, trade among ourselves, be like Canada and buy and support your home products. It is regrettable, but in a

would urge all of my French brothers and sisters, and indeed all consumers worldwide, to immediately boycott all US-made goods, for as long as the current policies remain in place. The only

way to get Mr Trump to do the right thing is to force him to do so, by making it far more painful to continue down the current path. I hope for a future in which that foolishness is finally
