I REFER to your interview with Kenza Drider (Connexion, March), who wears a niqab and wishes to seek election as president while defying the laws of France. I am not racist nor antireligion,
but I cannot see any reason for an elector to vote for a faceless candidate for whatever reason. If she wishes to wear a face mask then I suggest she returns to a country where they are
permitted, assuming they will accept her as a free woman and allow her to present herself for election. In the meantime, I hope that Connexion will continue to cater for those of us who live
in France and accept to abide by the laws of our country of adoption. Colin BRYCE, by email
