extended to include Wednesday, allowing people to watch some of the new releases this week including The Final Destination. La Rentrée du Cinéma will be the third cheap ticket event this
year, following Le Printemps du Cinéma in the spring and the Fête du Cinéma in June. It is organised in partnership between La Fédération Nationale des Cinémas Français and the bank BNP
Paribas. The aim is to boost cinema-going at a time of year when it traditionally slumps to an annual low.
