CUSTOMERS WHO BOUGHT THE PRODUCTS AT CARREFOUR, LECLERC, INTERMARCHÉ OR SUPER U SHOULD NOT EAT THEM BUT TAKE THEM BACK FOR A REFUND Oysters are being recalled to supermarkets across France

after it was discovered that they were contaminated with listeria and norovirus. The oysters were sold a week ago but in case people have any still we are sharing this information.

(@RappelConso) January 2, 2023 People having consumed any of these products and who then present symptoms of gastroenteritis – such as vomiting, diarrhoea and/or a fever – are encouraged to

consult their doctor, explaining that they have eaten contaminated food. Immunosuppressed people should be particularly attentive to these symptoms, which can begin to occur between six and

48 hours after consumption. People having bought the products should take them back to the shop for a refund and not eat them. You can find out more about the different recalls on the

government alert website Rappel Conso. CONTAMINATION IN THE ÉTANG DE THAU Distributors were banned by the Hérault authorities from selling mussels, oysters and clams coming from the Étang de

Thau after it was discovered that they were contaminated with norovirus. The seafood was contaminated on December 15. The ban will be lifted once health safety conditions are met, they say.
