TRAINS TO AMSTERDAM ARE ALSO IMPACTED. MOST CANCELLATIONS AFFECT WEEKEND TRAVELLERS Several Eurostar services travelling between Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam in August have been cancelled.
Certain trains between the French and Belgian capitals are disrupted between today August 12 and August 26, mostly on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends. Eurostar does not give a precise
reason for this but states that the restrictions are due to ‘operational constraints’. A number of daily services between Paris/Brussels and Amsterdam are cancelled between August 12 and 29
due to engineering works by the SNCB, the Belgian state rail operator. Services between London and the French and Belgian capitals are not affected. You can find a list of all services
affected between Paris and Brussels here, and between Amsterdam and Paris/Brussels here. Travellers whose train has been cancelled should be informed of the disruption by email. NUMBER OF
WAYS TO RESCHEDULE JOURNEY OR REFUND TICKET If your travel plans are affected, Eurostar offers one of three options. Passengers can either: * Exchange their ticket for another on the same
route, on a different date or at a different time * Cancel their booking and receive an e-voucher for the amount paid, which can be redeemed within 12 months of cancelling. This can be used
on any Eurostar service * Cancel their booking and receive a refund of the price of the ticket However, you do not have to take action before the original travel date of your booking – you
have up to three months from the scheduled date of travel to decide. Read more: Is there a service to help disabled people use French public transport? Read more: Great sea views: summer
