Pictures of a much-loved Coventry pub which reopened last week have been shared with CoventryLive. The Old Dyers Arms, a historic establishment once known for it popularity with local


bikers, opened earlier this week after a long time dormant. But with new management and a full refurb to the tune of £300,000 the pub is open once more and looking to become a thriving part


of the city's social scene. Images show a plush new décor, a new games room with pool and darts, bright livery and a stunning outdoor area. The pub was described as 'special'

MAN WHO FELL INTO WATER Shelley previously said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be taking over The Old Dyers Arms. This is such a special pub with so much potential and I feel confident


that this investment will help us to cement it at the heart of the community and create a welcoming hub that brings people together." Internally, The Old Dyers Arms is split across


three areas – the main bar, a sports room and a cosy snug. Shelley and Jim were keen to ensure the pub retained all the character of its original 1800’s features, but have also refreshing


the overall look and feel with brand new fixtures, fittings, furniture and flooring throughout. Sports fans can also expect several televisions hosting Sky and TNT Sports. Outside, the pub


has brand new lighting and signage to greet visitors and will feature a freshly re-imagined beer garden complete with new wooden benches, festoon lighting and plenty of greenery. Punters can


look forward to a busy schedule of entertainment including competitive weekly quiz nights and regular live music evenings to support local, up and coming artists.
