A local culture venue has closed due to 'unforeseen circumstances'. Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum took to social media on Thursday (29 May) to advise visitors of the
temporary measure. The venue is currently undergoing much-needed maintenance, but due to recent heavy rains, the required work has proven challenging. A decision to close for a period of
time was taken my museum bosses, with the aim of keeping both visitors and the artworks interests at heart. The decision was posted on the venue's Facebook account. READ MORE: POPULAR

unforeseen circumstances. "Recent adverse weather has impacted the ongoing roof repair works. As a precautionary measure, we have closed the gallery to safeguard the artworks and ensure
the safety of our visitors and staff. "We understand how disappointing this will be, especially for those planning to visit during half-term. Please rest assured that we will reopen
shortly – and we look forward to welcoming you to our new exhibition, A Different View: Women Artists at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum. "We’ll provide further updates as soon
as possible and sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding. Thank you for your continued support."
