BBC Breakfast returned to our screens on Monday (2 June), with Sally Nugent and Jon Kay delivering the latest headlines and news to viewers. The programme commenced with some distressing
news, as Sally reported on an overnight attack in the United States. As Jon passed over to Sally, he stated: "Sally has more of today's news, and a developing story overnight in
the States." She proceeded to announce: "That's right, Jon. We start with this story. "Six people have been injured in the US state of Colorado after an attacker used a

MAJOR CAREER MOVE "The FBI says it's treating the incident as an act of terrorism. A 45-year-old man has been arrested." The assault occurred at an outdoor shopping centre in
Boulder, Colorado, and it has since been confirmed that eight people were injured, reports the Express. Four women and four men, ranging in age from 52 to 88, have been transported to Denver
metro hospitals. At least one individual is in critical condition, while others are receiving treatment for burns and additional injuries. They were participating in a Run for Their Lives
march, an organisation aiming to raise awareness for Israeli hostages held in Gaza. The FBI has described the march as a "regularly scheduled" and "peaceful event,". The
suspect, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, has been apprehended, with police stating they are "fairly confident" he acted alone. Boulder police have revealed they will enhance security at
Jewish events following recent incidents. Boulder's Mayor, Aaron Brockett, expressed his distress over the "appalling attack" in a social media post. Additionally, he
stressed: "I want to be clear that violence and hatred have no place here. "Attacks like these seek to strike terror in people's hearts and divide us from one another, but
Boulder will stand strong together." BBC Breakfast broadcasts every weekday at 6am on BBC One.
