By EMILY WEBBER FOR MAILONLINE Published: 14:09 EDT, 23 October 2020 | Updated: 14:50 EDT, 23 October 2020 Joe Wicks has revealed he's embraced his changing physique despite gaining
'a bit of squidge' as he documented his fitness journey on Friday. The YouTube sensation, 35, took to his Instagram on Friday to share a picture of his torso from 2013 after
undergoing an intense eight-week training and meal plan, admitting that his strict regime at the time was 'not much fun'. However Joe, who is dad to daughter Indie, two, and
ten-month-old son Marley, insisted he's is still 'strong and healthy' but enjoys a gin and tonic occasionally, after relaxing his regime to embrace the joys of fatherhood.
Joe, who recently received an MBE after raising £580k for the NHS with his lockdown PE Lessons, shared a picture from 2013 displaying his lean and muscular torso. He captioned the picture:
'Just found this photo from 2013. This is the leanest I have ever been after a strict eight-week training and meal plan. 'It's hard staying this lean all year round and in my
opinion not much fun. I wasn't any happier than I am now. 'Life should be about balance and enjoying food whilst staying fit, healthy and mentally strong.' The Body Coach
also shared a mirror selfie from 2013 wearing red underwear and showing his incredibly-toned physique which forced him to 'give up so many things'. He penned: 'I loved the
challenge of getting this lean and pushing myself but to sustain a body this lean I had to give up so many things I love and for me in the end it wasn't worth it. 'I'd rather
have a bit more body fat and enjoy all my favourite foods and big portions because food is my favourite thing in the world.' The father-of-two also shared a holiday snap taken from a
getaway with his wife Rosie in 2016 - the same year the couple started dating. A beaming Joe donned blue swimming trunks, captioned: 'This is me happy on holiday with Rosie in 2016
enjoying the hotel buffets, some gin tons and puddings. 'I can maintain this with five tough workouts a week and eating sensibly and not being too greedy.' The fitness sensation
later shared a short clip to his Instagram Story wearing black shorts and his brunette locks scarped off his face, captioned: '35 years old, two babies. Broken sleep. Fit, healthy and
most importantly happy.' Speaking in the footage, he added: 'So this is the bod today, 35, two kids, up all b***** night but I am still training - got a little bit of the old
squidge but I'm happy! 'I eat marmalade on toast, I eat about eight Weetabix at a time, I like a gin ton, I keep fit, I am strong and healthy but I am not as lean as you might have
seen in the 2013 photos. But I am happier - so win!' The Body Coach's daily morning workouts proved a huge lockdown hit with one million people subscribing to his YouTube channel
in the space of a week and raising £580,000 for the NHS. The fitness sensation, who has 2.57 million YouTube subscribers, celebrated his MBE with a lavish dinner at Lucky Cat by Gordon
Ramsey and shared a sweet picture with his mum Raquela Mosquera. He also described how the food was 'unbelievable' and said the chocolate fondant with smoked coconut ice cream was
'out of this world'. Joe also claimed a Guinness World Record for live streaming after one of his online classes attracted almost a million viewers.
