Married At First Sight Australia's Bronson Norrish has said that his love rival, Sam Ball, tried to warn him about his 'affair' with his then 'wife' Ines Basic. The
former stripper, 35, even claimed that he and Sam, 28, who was 'married' to Elizabeth Sobinoff at the time, were 'pulled apart really quickly' by producers after he
called him over to one side for a chat during the series. Fans were left shocked after Sam and Ines' 'affair' was exposed on series six of Married At First Sight Australia,
which first aired Down Under in 2019, and has since become a surprising hit in the UK recently. Talking in a new interview, Bronson admitted he was 'blindsided' by Sam, who has
since claimed that he never slept with anyone and that his romance with Ines was 'staged'. Bronson told Metro: 'I definitely was blindsided, as in I thought Sam and her were
nice enough to tell me. I give Sam props, he did try to warn me. RELATED ARTICLES 'He didn’t actually get the chance to, he pulled me aside and was about to tell me something was going
on, but the producers saw us and pulled us apart really quickly. 'But I did have an underlying suspicion that Ines was like that all the way through. I did give my best shot, but I
definitely got played.' Bronson added that he wanted to leave the show on the very first week following his awkward wedding with Ines but producers 'changed his mind' and
'convinced him to stay'. The former stripper claimed that he was told that Ines' 'really likes' him and that she was just 'really nervous', but by the
second week he had 'had enough' after he overheard her 'slating him'. MailOnline has contacted Channel Nine for comment. It comes after Bronson publicly voiced his
support for former love rival Sam earlier this year. The former stripper told Express.co.uk that he 'feels sorry' for Sam over the way he's been edited on the show.
Viewers were made to believe that Sam and Bronson's now 'ex-wife' Ines had an affair on the show, but since it aired in Australia, Sam has long insisted that he didn't
sleep with any of his co-stars. 'I kind of feel sorry for Sam, as he is the villain in the show,' Bronson told the publication. Bronson added that Sam tried to do the right thing
by warning him about his romance with Ines. 'Out of everyone in the show he did try and warn me about the affair. He pulled me aside before the affair started and let me know that Ines
had contacted him, and that the producers were pushing forward and wanting them to have the affair.' Bronson claimed that he couldn't speak to Ines about it afterwards, due to the
producers. Sam made headlines back in 2019 in Australia for his on-screen 'affair' with Ines, despite having 'married' Elizabeth, with the scenes recently playing out in
the UK. The reality star has long insisted that he never slept with anyone on the show. Earlier this year, Sam called into Talk Radio and claimed that his 'womanising' storyline
on the show was set up by producers. He said: 'I was taken into a dark room by producers and told [the cheating storyline] was going to happen... 'I threw [Ines] onto a bed and
that was it... I actually went out for a night with the boys after that.' Sam explained that he has been unable to speak out and defend himself because he was under contract.
'It's so binding, there's not much you can do at all. Your hands are tied. I couldn't talk out or do anything. I have literally been gagged for the last two years,'
he claimed. He also revealed that Ines had blocked him - despite Ines previously telling MailOnline that he dumped her. Ines claimed they forged a plan to leave the TV experiment and start
a new life together, but he ghosted her and they never spoke again. She told MailOnline earlier this year: 'I actually really liked Sam. I wasn't expecting that because I thought
I was done for. 'Sam and I started off camera. When we finished filming we had curfews and we were allowed out for a couple of hours and I randomly walked into this bar and he was
there. We just kicked it off. 'Then we went back to the hotel pool and we started hooking up. There was so much chemistry. 'The producers found out so they had to create this
storyline of me messaging him on Instagram.' Viewers were made to believe Ines and Sam had sex – and while they didn't go all the way, the pair did explore their temptations
towards each other. But Sam has been keen to dispel the idea that his romance with Ines was genuine, after the 2019 Australian series aired for the first time in the UK. MailOnline contacted
Channel Nine for comment at the time.
