who is stepping down after a remarkable career which has seen her clock up almost four decades of service. Executive Nurse Director Frances Dodd has announced she is stepping down following
a stellar career spanning 39 years within the National Health Service. And she was saluted at what was her final formal Public Board meeting at Carseview House. Interim chair Neena Mahal
said: “A huge thank you for everything that you have done after 39 years of dedicated service. We are going to be very sorry to lose you. “On behalf of the board and colleagues in the wider
organisation, a huge thank you for everything you have done. “You and I go way back to the days of NHS Lanarkshire. You have worked in a national board, acute services, community services
and over the last four years in Forth Valley, “You are incredibly well respected and we should not underestimate the impact you have had - not only in Forth Valley but in the NHS in
Scotland. “Some of your achievements there are too many to list like the way you have transformed the culture within nursing midwifery and also your use of agency and bank nursing. “You have
connectedness with staff and the fact you still undertaken clinical shifts is a great tribute to yourself. Everything you do, you always do it with style, panache and a smile on our face.

and much appreciated. I am ending my career on an absolute high in Forth Valley, I always wanted to be a territorial board nurse director and I have achieved it. The support of the people of
Forth Valley has been phenomenal in the last few years.” A formal presentattion will be made to Frances at a private meeting of the Board next month,
