Family Handout/LBT Global/PA) The heartbroken family of Jay Slater are working on a documentary to try to get to the bottom of what happened to him.

The family have confirmed they are working with Channel 4 on the new documentary, which will look at the people he was with and his last movements before going missing.

‌ The broadcaster is said to be working with the late apprentice bricklayer's family and a team of TV producers with experience in similar programmes following his death abroad in July 2024.

A massive manhunt was put on when the 19-year-old vanished without trace while on holiday in Tenerife.
