ROLF HARRIS' WIFE ALWEN HUGHES' WILL HAS BEEN REVEALED, MONTHS AFTER THE DISGRACED TV STAR'S DEATH. THE SCULPTRESS AND JEWELLER LEFT A HUGE FORTUNE WHEN SHE DIED IN AUGUST

LAST YEAR 22:50, 20 May 2025Updated 22:50, 20 May 2025 The staggering sum left by Rolf Harris' wife in her will has been unveiled. Harris passed away at 93 in May 2023 from neck cancer,

leaving behind an enormous £16million fortune. Now, the amount his wife Alwen Hughes bequeathed in her own will has come to light. Hughes passed away in August last year at 92, a year after

her husband. Despite Harris being convicted on 12 counts of indecent assault against four girls and young women, Hughes remained steadfastly loyal to him. The Welsh sculptress and jeweller

left £4million following her death. Documents reveal her estate was valued at £3,975,950 at the time of her death, which was reduced to a net value of £3,840,532 after deductions. Her will,

dated July 2018, was said to be quite complex, having been written years before the death of Harris, so he was still included in the document. Article continues below However, it disclosed

that following Harris' death, their daughter, Ava Reeves, became the primary beneficiary. Other family members were also named in the official document. Harris and Hughes tied the knot

in 1958. She stood by him throughout his convictions and attended every day of Harris' initial trial alongside their daughter Bindi - who later changed her name to Ava in an attempt to

distance herself from Harris' tarnished legacy. Just last month, Harris' mansion was put on the market, two years after his death. The riverside property in Berkshire was

discreetly listed with a hefty asking price of £4million. A source told the Mirror at the time that Ava had been trying to flog the property: "Bindi [Ava] was seen emptying the property

about a month ago," "She wants to sell it, but she doesn't desperately need the money and is in no rush, so she's determined to hold out for a good price. Potential

buyers have already begun viewings." The former TV host was jailed in July 2014 for five years and nine months after he was found guilty of twelve indecent assaults against four young

girls. His offences occurred between 1968 and 1986. In one case, it's alleged Harris sexually assaulted one of his daughter's friends, who was aged between 13 and 19 at the time.

reported as: "I always believed we would go on longer together but, if I go first, promise you'll take good care of your mum." _FOR THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS AND STORIES FROM
