EMMA RADUCANU'S OPPONENT DANIELLE COLLINS LAUNCHED A FURIOUS TIRADE AT A CAMERAMAN DURING HER THREE-SET VICTORY OVER THE BRIT IN THE SECOND ROUND OF THE WTA 250 EVENT IN STRASBOURG
17:26, 21 May 2025 Danielle Collins was absolutely livid with a camera operator who she accused of "wildly inappropriate" behaviour during a tennis clash with Emma Raducanu. The
drama unfolded during a break in a WTA 250 match between the two rivals in Strasbourg. In the midst of a game switch-up, Collins, 31, believed the cameraman was lurking too close for comfort
and didn't hold back. She leapt from her seat, made a beeline for him and demanded he back off and give her British opponent Raducanu, 22, some breathing room. Collins blasted his
behaviour as "wildly inappropriate" in a heated outburst that was caught on microphones around the court. She shouted: "I need to get water. We're on a changeover. You
don't need to be that close to me and you don't need to be on top of Emma. Article continues below "It's wildly inappropriate. It's not that difficult to give space,
I'm sorry." Post-rant, the American star had a bit of an awkward moment topping up her water bottle while the camera kept rolling, before she hopped back onto the court, reports
the Express. Despite the distraction, Collins managed to topple her British opponent in a three-set thriller. This meant curtains for Raducanu's run, coming off the back of an
impressive victory over Daria Kasatkina. Raducanu kicked off strong, nailing the first set and keeping up the solid performance she'd unleashed on Kasatkina. DON'T MISS A THING

and requested a timeout. She exited the court with her physio, but eventually returned for the final set, which Collins clinched to secure a 4-6 6-1 6-3 triumph.
