May 2025 What a few weeks for Fortnite, eh? From a Star Wars TV show premiere in-game to the arrival of Sabrina Carpenter as the latest Icon, Epic Games has been constantly pushing its

battle royale forward. Perhaps the biggest news, however, was a US court judgement that means Apple has been forced to allow Fortnite to return to the App Store on iPhone and iPad after

years of legal battles. While Apple had argued Epic was unfairly incentivising players to buy in-game currency elsewhere so it wouldn't get its cut of the fees, Judge Yvonne Gonzalez

Rogers said Apple could no longer dissuade developers from doing so. Fast-forward a couple of weeks, and Fortnite is back on iOS and iPadOS – at least in the US. FORTNITE IS BACK ON IOS

Sharing the good news with its legions of fans on X (formerly Twitter), the official Fortnite account said "Fortnite is BACK on the App Store in the U.S. on iPhones and iPads... and on

the Epic Games Store and AltStore in the E.U!" Article continues below "It’ll show up in Search soon!" it added. At the time of writing, the game isn't available on the

UK App Store, but we'd wager it won't be long now that the game is back on iPhone in the US. "This is absolutely incredible," former Fortnite Chief Creative Officer

Donald Mustard posted on X. "Everyone go get Fortnite on your Phones and iPads NOW!!! We worked SO hard in those early days of Fortnite to really dial in and refine a great control

scheme for mobile devices!" Epic's CEO and co-founder, Tim Sweeney, simply posted "We back fam", and it seems likely to be the end of the lengthy ordeal short of further

appeals from either side. Will you be playing Fortnite on mobile? Or has too much time passed and now you're console or PC only? Let us know in the comments. Article continues below FOR
