Congratulations! You're less than a year away from being able to play Grand Theft Auto 6, with Rockstar's latest title expected to break records not just in gaming, but
entertainment as a whole. The game, which has reportedly been in development for years, could end up being more costly than the average game, but if the trailers we've seen so far are
anything to go by, it'll be worth the price of admission. To celebrate the fact that it's just under a year away, we've collated all we know about the game, including
information about its cast, map, pricing, and much more. Here's all you need to know about GTA 6. GTA 6 RELEASE DATE AND PLATFORMS Let's start things off with a biggie: the
game's release date. While GTA 6 had been slated for 2025 (although a firm date was never given), Rockstar announced that the game had been pushed to 2026. To be precise, it's now
expected on May 26, 2026. According to reports, this was done to avoid the development team needing to crunch to get the game finished, and not due to anything Donald Trump may have done.
Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive (Rockstar's parent company) said in May that he believes "affording Rockstar additional time for such a groundbreaking project is a
worthy investment". As for platforms, the game will arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, so if you're still on PS4 or Xbox One, you'll need to upgrade. There's no PC
version confirmed, either, but Rockstar tends to bring its games to the platform at a later date. GTA 6 TRAILERS At the time of writing, there have been two trailers for GTA 6, with a huge
gap between them. The first arrived in December of 2023, and showcases Vice City and the Leonida region, set to Tom Petty's Love Is A Long Road. From beaches to rooftop parties, and pop
culture references like the bizarre 'Florida Joker', it's a great introduction to the game's world. The next trailer didn't arrive until May 6, shortly after the
game was delayed. It features Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters and has more of a focus on Jason and Lucia, our two protagonists, as well as some of the game's supporting cast. This
trailer is captured on a base PS5, too, suggesting Sony has wrapped up the lucrative marketing rights for the biggest game in history. PRICING The price of video games is increasing, and
while fans have previously baulked at paying more for a title, it's looking increasingly likely Rockstar and Take-Two could charge more for GTA 6 in order to recoup some of the costs of
development. Some have tipped the game to 'save' the games industry with a high price tag, while others feel like Rockstar is more likely to offer a pricier version with extra
content. Other rumours have suggested the game will come in two parts, with a cheaper GTA Online component and a full-priced version that includes the story. Borderlands 4, which is also
under Take-Two's umbrella, will launch in September, and seemingly at a higher price point, but stablemate Mafia: The Old Country will be cheaper. Where will GTA 6 end up? It's
hard to say at this point, but we'll let you know as soon as we hear. VOICE CAST Rockstar has moved away from celebrity castings for its GTA cast, and while there's always the
potential for a surprise appearance or two, the current voice cast of GTA 6 is under wraps. Roger Craig Smith, a longtime voice actor in the video game industry, has moved to clarify
he's not part of things, while one leak suggests DJ Khaled could get his own radio station. Fans have suggested Gregory Connors and Manni L. Perez are portraying Jason and Lucia,
respectively, but there's nothing concrete on either of our leading stars. MAP We still don't know how big GTA 6's map will be, but fan mock-ups have suggested it'll be
magnitudes larger than GTA 5's, while also being more detailed. Enterprising fans have even put together an impressive "interactive map" that shows a whole host of in-game
locations. The game will see a return to an expanded Vice City, as well as its surrounding Leonida County. _FOR THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS AND STORIES FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE FROM THE DAILY
