GOOD MORNING BRITAIN STAR RANVIR SINGH WAS IN HOSPITAL THIS MONTH AFTER HAVING EMERGENCY SURGERY. 09:29, 30 May 2025 On Friday's episode of Good Morning Britain, star presenter Ranvir
Singh got candid about her recent health ordeal with emergency surgery. Chatting on the programme, she discussed health with Made in Chelsea's Sam Vanderpump following his own
terrifying brush with life-threatening sepsis after liver and kidney failure. As Sam urged viewers to seek medical advice if they suspect sepsis symptoms, Ranvir chimed in with her own tale
of woe involving an unexpected emergency service call. She explained: "It's interesting, you know when I had my appendix ruptured a couple of weeks ago, about three weeks ago, the
thing that made me call 111, I had sort of been writhing around all day straight after work." READ MORE: Good Morning Britain stars interrupt show with Susanna Reid announcementREAD

eight o'clock at night, and I thought, 'Let's check it's not bowel cancer'. I don't know, it's because Lorraine's team have been doing a bowel cancer
thing." Ranvir reflected on the power of health awareness, stating: "So, raising awareness genuinely works in the moment when you're in pain, you go, 'What could it
be?'. So just planting a seed in the mind of someone." Her co-host Rob spoke up, highlighting that despite the pain, initial medical response was dismissive, reports Bristol Live.
He said: "They told you it was nothing, I think, at first?" Ranvir confirmed this, replying simply: "Yeah." At the start of May, the ITV star shared with Instagram fans
that a swift op was necessary after her appendix gave way post a stint hosting Lorraine. Ranvir had pulled off presenting duties on Wednesday only to find herself in surgery the very next
day. Revealing she felt a tad washed out and fuzzy-headed, she initially believed a cup of coffee would hit the spot until a stomach pain struck her unexpectedly. Her Instagram post
revealed: "I stay in bed all day. Turns out I had a ruptured appendix and had urgent surgery at midnight on Thursday! "Woke up 5am on Friday morning, high on anaesthetic and
certain I could get into work to host the show as normal [laughing emoji]." Describing her ordeal, she shared: "Pretty nasty few days, the bacteria had spread and infected my blood
etc and told to take this week off by @jadeens I'm sore and shuffling around, can't drive for a week, and no exercise for 4 weeks (! ) so really it's the boredom that will
kill me!" The ITV star then spoke about enduring 'horrendous' shoulder pain which had fans dashing to send their best regards. Article continues below Yet, it seems Ranvir has
bounced back, as she was seen presenting the ITV programme on Friday right beside Rob Rinder. _GOOD MORNING BRITAIN IS AVAILABLE TO WATCH ON ITVX._
