walkway. WATCH ON DEADLINE Laverock was first taken to a Winnipeg hospital on May 11 by her mother for what was described as a “medical emergency”, according to a GoFundMe campaign created


by her parents Rob and Nicole Compton. At that time, her parents wrote that “her recovery is unclear at this time but she is alive and is showing signs of improvement.” She was later


transferred to a Vancouver hospital for follow-up treatment. In a recent update on her GoFundMe page, her parents wrote, “We are deeply saddened to report that on May 26th, Mamie, who has


been in intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories.” “She sustained life


threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support,” her parents continued. “We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult


time.” Hallmark Channel parent Hallmark Media released the following statement: “We are deeply saddened to hear the news about Mamie. As a beloved member of our _When Calls the Heart_ 


community, we wish her and her family peace, comfort, and many prayers during this difficult time.” Johannah Newmarch, who portrays Laverock’s on-screen mother Molly Sullivan, asked for


support for the family in a post on X (fka Twitter). “I love this family, my heart is broken. A devastating time for all who care for Mamie. Please help if you can,” Newmarch, 52, wrote on


May 27. “They need all the support they can get to make it through this.” _When Calls the Heart_‘s Erin Krakow also urged her follows to donate to the family’s fund on Instagram. “💔 I just
