encyclopedia publisher has committed suicide in in Gurgaon, a Times of India report has said. According to the report, Vineet Whig, COO of South Asia division of Britannica, committed
suicide from the 19th floor of his building in Cyber City, Gurgaon. The police were summoned after sweepers found his body around 9 am on Monday, and found a suicide note in his pocket
which said that he was taking the step as he was fed up with himself, the TOI report said. Whig is survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter and his father. A resident of DLF Belvedere
Park, Whig is suspected to have jumped to his death from the air shaft of the 19th floor of the Block C of the apartment complex. Police found his footwear there. He lived in Block D. The
police said that legal formalities and an autopsy have been completed.
