Vaghela has told the agency that he was not involved in any of the incidents that happened at farmhouse. KM Vaghela, a police inspector who was with the Detection of Crime Branch in November
2005, was grilled by the CBI sleuths for eight hours in connection with the Sohrabuddin encounter. Sources said the agency wanted to know about his possible role in the incidents that
happened at Arham Farm House where Sohrabuddin and Kausarbi were kept following their abduction. Vaghela, who is currently an assistant commissioner of police, has apparently told CBI that
he was not involved in any of the incidents that happened at Arham. Sources said that Vaghela co-operated with the investigators and told the sleuths that he has nothing to do with the
abduction and killing of the couple. Vaghela was questioned after his name cropped up following interrogation of Rajendra Jirawala, the owner of Arham farmhouse. Jirawala allegedly told CBI
that he was threatened by two cops to provide the keys of his farmhouse to Vanzara. Vaghela was once a close aide of main accused of in the Sohrabuddin fake encounter DG Vanzara. Jirawala
also named another cop, JG Parmar, who too was a police inspector with the DCB in 2005. CBI, however, has not called Parmar for questioning but may do so on Thursday. Sources said that, late
Satish Sharma a close friend of Parmar's son had provided the keys of Arham farmhouse to Vanzara who later on allegedly misused the farmhouse.
