Situation peaceful, admin likely to relax curfew throughout the day from today. Curfew was relaxed for seven hours in Chandan Nagar area on Saturday and no untoward incident was reported
from any where. The administration is likely to relax the curfew throughout the day from Sunday. "The curfew was released for seven hours and peace prevailed in the area. Though
security forces were deployed, people peacefully moved out of their houses for purchasing and other activities," said ADM Alok Kumar Singh. Residents of the area purchased grocery,
milk and other daily need items. Police and paramilitary force was deployed in the area to avoid any untoward incident when the curfew was relaxed. Senior officers monitored the situation
and observed the movement of people in the area. SP Anil Singh Kushwah said that curfew will be relaxed for men and women in the area on Sunday. The time period for relaxation in curfew is
yet to be decided and a decision will be taken after assessing the situation. The officers said that curfew is being relaxed on day to day basis after assessing the daily situation. They
hinted that the curfew is likely to be relaxed in day time from Sunday. The meeting of the district peace committee will be held at Collectorate on Sunday. Waseem's condition improves:
Meanwhile MY Hospital authorities claimed that condition of Waseem Akram injured in Chandan Nagar clash has improved comparatively. He was removed from the ventilator on Saturday and the
reports are normal. However he has been kept under observation for 48 hours.
