Trinamool Congress on Monday celebrated its 20th year as a party in grand style, with celebrations and programmes going up to a month. Trinamool Congress on Monday celebrated its 20th year
as a party in grand style, with celebrations and programmes going up to a month. Party general secretary Subrata Bakshi has already sent circulars to the districts about the part programmes
for a month. Programmes include different social welfare and developmental activities. For the first one week, there will be several social and cultural programmes put up at different
districts. There are plans to put up camps to distribute fruits, woollen garments, as well as blood donation camps. There will be colourful programmes put up on January 12 and 23,
celebrating the birthdays of Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, respectively, while the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi would also be observed on January 30. > On

panchayat elections are likely to take place in April-May. The instruction to party members at the booth level, by the party leadership is to connect with people at grassroots. The party
has also published booklets about the different developmental activities of the party which have been distributed among booth level workers who have been asked to talk to people in street
