yet to cross over to India. Government sources said though initial reports from the neighbouring country suggested that journalist Rajeev Bhattacharyya and photographer Pradip Gogoi, who
were detained by Mayanmarese army along with ULFA leader Jivan Moran, were released after their mobile phone and camera were confiscated, they were yet to cross over to India. Bhattacharyya
and Gogoi, who work for a local newspaper in Guwahati and had left in mid-October for Myanmar apparently to interview Paresh Baruah, ULFA's self-styled commander-in-chief, are still
believed to be in Myanmar and there was no "authentic report" about their present location, the sources said. The families of the two also have not got any communication from the
scribes. The two journalists and ULFA leader Moran were reportedly detained in the eastern part of Myanmar bordering China. It is not known when and under what circumstances they were
detained. ULFA military chief Paresh Baruah reportedly has bases in Myanmar and visits China frequently.
