complex in city on Sunday. The duo was admitted to the burns unit of a Tardeo-based hospital. Anil Mishra, 47, a lift-man, and Ram Patra, a worker, were working at the Gold Coin residential
complex at Haji Ali. The two sustained burns after the fogging machine accidentally caught fire. According to Patra, the machine has cylinders with a tank containing diesel, water, and an
organophosphorus component. A fire took place after the pump was pressed. The diesel started leaking while pumping the chemical. While the incident occurred on Sunday, Patra was discharged
on Tuesday after he received initial medical treatment. Mishra is still undergoing treatment. According to Patra, he was spraying the chemical in the compound near a lift when the fire
began. "Anil was inside the lift and suffered about 25 per cent burns. The right side of his face and both hands and back have been severely affected. He will undergo a surgery
tomorrow. Patra, who was pumping the machine, suffered six to seven per cent burns. He was discharged from the hospital within two days, " said Dr Shailesh Ranade, Plastic Surgeon and
coordinator of Burns Unit at Bhatia Hospital. "Patra sustained burns as he tried to save Anil who was standing close to a wooden metre-box. Burns caused by fire, due to fogging machine,
