branch of the Mumbai police on Friday submitted to the court forensic test reports of the six phones recovered from journalist Jigna Vora, a key accused in the murder case of senior
journalist J Dey. "We have submitted the forensic reports of the six hand sets recovered from Vohra. The reports of two handsets, a memory card and a laptop are still awaited," a
crime branch source said. Meanwhile, Vora has moved an application to the court pleading that the personal details recovered from the phones which are not relevant to the case not be made
mentioned in the supplementary chargesheet. Vora, the deputy Chief of Bureau of a Mumbai-based English newspaper was arrested on November 25 last under MCOCA in connection with the murder of
the senior crime reporter J Dey, allegedly at the behest of the underworld don Chhota Rajan. Vora is accused of passing on key information like the number plate of the slain
journalist's motorcycle and his address to the fugitive don.
