Here is some great news for all those who have been missing some 'action' — now, you can amp up your sex life by accessing The Kama Sutra on your smartphone or tablet in 3D. The
2000-year-old sex manual has been sexed up for the 21st century with a new app, Kama Xcitra, that enables couples to study its instructions in 3D. State-of-the art-technology transforms the
illustrations into holograms that pop up on the screen of a smartphone or tablet. The free app not only promises to help couples master positions from the book, but also allows its users to
customise the appearance of models by changing skin or hair colour, besides adding a soundtrack. _The Guardian_ quoted Hazel Cushion, managing director of publisher Xcite Books as saying,
"The Kama Xcitra uses state-of-the-art technology... Each image appears to pop out of the page as a 3D hologram right in front of the reader's phone." The Kama Sutra is said
to be the oldest and most notable of a group of texts based on ancient Hindu philosophies. Originally written in Sanskrit, it was first translated into English by Richard Burton in 1883. The
ancient scripture has even tickled the fancy of filmmakers both in Bollywood and Hollywood. A film, titled _Kamasutra_, by Mira Nair, which was replete with soft-core sex and exotic sets,
was banned in India for its sexually explicit scenes. The latest attempt is _Kamasutra 3D_, which is also the debut movie of controversial model Sherlyn Chopra.
