A fuel-efficient car has been deve loped in the UK that would run 2,500 km to a litre of petrol. Graham Paul and his colleagues at King's college, London University, have used a carbon
fibre to design the chassis of the car. Carbon fibre is used to produce light and strong equipment. The four-stroke vehicle can only seat a small person. It runs on unleaded petrol and can
achieve a speed of 40 km per hour. Paul says that his team has got their own purpose-designed data-logging computer system that would help them to develop a suitable car for the consumers.
The team aims at doubling the cars' performance in next 12 months.
