THURSDAY'S LETTERS: WHY DISRUPT EVERY WEST-DOWNTOWN ROUTE? It was with an ever-increasing sense of inevitability that I heard the news: this summer, 107 Avenue between 101 and 121


Streets will be partially closed for construction. In the world of infrastructure repair, this, of course, makes perfect sense, given that Stony Plain Road is already severely compromised;


Jasper Avenue east- and westbound is a nightmare; and, apparently, 102 Avenue will shortly be closed off as the Wellington Bridge (between 132 and 130 Streets) undergoes replacement.
